Welcome to Dover Woods Apartments, our recently renovated two bedroom apartments that have an envious location on the South Coast of beautiful Barbados. Centrally located, just a few steps away from St Lawrence Gap & the stunning Dover Beach, as well as only 15 minutes drive away from the airport in one direction and Bridgetown in the other. Everything in Barbados is never far away but you'll have good food, exciting things to do, and plenty of photo opportunities right on your doorstep. There are also lots of day trip options if that’s your thing. Just let us know what you're looking for, and we’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.

What about gas and electric costs?
These costs are included within your holiday rental. However, please note that electricity is very expensive in Barbados and we request that you always keep the bedroom doors closed when using the A/C unit and to switch it off when not using the room.

Will I have to pay local taxes
We have included the local taxes in your holiday rental costs.
Do I need insurance?
Yes, it is essential to obtain your own travel holiday insurance. We recommend that you choose a suitable policy that covers unforeseen cancellations or circumstances.
What do I need to bring?
We've tried to think of everything so you'll find the usual suspects, hairdryers, iron's etc but we've also added for your convenience, ceramic hair straighteners, USB ports beside the bed etc as well as a cooler bag with ice blocks for those trips to the beach. If in doubt ask the property manager for a full list of the inventory of the apartments we'd be happy to provide this in advance.
Is smoking allowed in the apartments?
Smoking is not permitted in the apartments as this a legal regulation in Barbados, but you may smoke anywhere in the garden area.
Can I book excursions or car hire with you directly?
Sure thing, we’d love to be able to give advice and make the bookings on your behalf– we have some great local partners that we work with from Catamarans, Jeep Safari’s and more.
Where can buy groceries, is there anywhere close by?
There is a very convenient mini market just a short walk away for your essentials and a main Massy supermarket just ten minutes away by local bus, they also offer a complimentary shuttle to bring you back after shopping.
Do I need to bring my own bedlinen and towels?
We provide all bed linens, towels and beach towels (the yellow ones). Please remember when taking the beach towels off property to come back with them!
Are prices quoted for the whole property or per person?
Our prices are quoted for the whole apartment and is based on four people sharing (whether adults or children). There is an additional charge for extra adults or children.
What is the maximum occupancy?
The maximum number of people that we allow is 6 adults, however as there is only one bathroom, we feel that 5 adults is more comfortable. Cots for infants should be requested at the time of booking and can be additional to the maximum occupancy.
Is there anyone on hand that can help me with local information?
We have a local property manager who is available by text, whatspp or call if you need any advise or assistance in resort. Any issues should be reported immediately so we have an opportunity to help.
